Spring on the river has good water, abundant wildlife and the weather is generally pretty good.

In the spring there is still snow in the mountains and it forces the animals down to the river.  This is when you see herds of dear, elk, mountain sheep and even moose. Great photo moments so don't forget to bring your water proof camera!

At this time of year there are generally no other trips on the river.  We will have the Salmon river pretty much to ourselves.

 

Trip includes:

1. Bus transportation from Salmon, Idaho to Corn Creek (put-in).
2. Five days / four nights rafting on the Main Salmon.
3. Gourmet Dutch Oven meals while on the river.
4. Lodging at three backcountry ranches:
   Whitewater Ranch, Mckay Bar, and Shepp Ranch.
5. All camping and rafting equipment.
6. Bus transportation from the river to McCall, Idaho.
