White water rafting on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho is legendary.  This small mountain stream rapidly develops into a rushing river dropping 3,000 feet in 100 miles.  Water is forced through numerous chutes and boulders creating over 100 class III and IV white water rapids that are ideal for extreme whitewater rafting enthusiasts.
This Middle Fork rafting vacation features premium fly fishing, pristine fir and spruce forests, pine studded granite mountains, and areas heavily populated by wild animals.

Designated by Congress as a “Wild and Scenic River,” the Middle Fork of the Salmon runs through the heart of Idaho and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness.  This is the area’s main access.  Man’s influence has been limited with only a few trails to hot springs, ranches, ancient native sites, landing strips and Forest Service stations.
